E-Mail: Re: Have A Great Break |
Dear
Lance:
I'm through with shoulder surgery and Vicodin.
I'm much safer doing shots and preparing my home for the eventual return
of the fruits of my loins for the upcoming school year.
I'm taking a couple days away from this rusty nail city to join hands with
friends in SF who relay the inevitable truth that Lawrence Ferlinghetti
is in poor health.
I don't know if this is at all true but I have to get to the west coast
to make myself feel better about living in a cancerous city whre rust and
orange street cones are the aesthetic norm.
As you know, I am an artist who believes there is beauty in all things
from the tit to the turd. I'm a desicple of Kant. He and I have several
things in common but foremost is we are both windbags. He does it in German
and I do it in English, French, and, to the deaf ears of Vietnamese. Oh,
yes, I've done it with brute, killing force as well.
As some of your critics and supporters would agree, maybe there isn't much
to complain about if we ignore the Bush administration's peculiar interpretation
of the Constitutuion while the Supreme Court either retires or jerks off
to the good old days. Is this 1936?
I've killed Vietnamese, Russians, Cubans, and others of origin which bore
me.
I have a plan and protocol.
It goes like this. If a bumb asks me for a dollar for food, I'll give him/her
$20 for their clothes right there. If airport security wants me to take
my shoes off, I'm taking everything off. If a cop asks for my ID, I'll
ask for his before surrendering mine.
I do have to admit I was on board with the Clinton impeachment stufff not
because of what he did but because of the fat ass chick he did it with.
I've fucked uglier chicks in the lady's room after numerous drinks and
I could still push a button, call a cab, or stay put for the next adventure.
I guess what I'm saying is this country, one which I served, is the 4th
Reich. Bush has lost his mind.
As a soldier, I know how to fight insurgents and terrorits; you kill everything
that isn't a rock.
For me, I'm making a trip to SF and carrying no baggage.
I am also renouncing my citizenship and moving to Jamaica.
I have choices and choose thusly.
For your readers, when the body bags become 'unacceptable,' start using
your fucking minds instead of accepting the crap coming out of D.C. LBJ
had the same problem; social concerns vs foreign shit.
Good luck to you all. I'm outta here.
