Angela Marsh
angela marsh works
Angela Marsh is a Cincinnati poet and freelance writer. She has recently been described as a hedonist and is actively devouring this newly appointed title. Since writing poetry is not regarded as productive employment, Angela is currently deemed jobless. She lives with her husband and finds it difficult to make time for anything that doesn’t please her in a selfish and/or abundant manner. There is not much we can do about it…she is Angela.

trivial

the nightmare of idleness

in the furrow of insignificance the shadows pace

your trophy stopped radiating last night
the core of resistance
forced untold into another realm
the ambit of your soul
left you

you struggled to rise beyond
to witness so sympathetically
motion and words combined
a powerful firestorm
materialized in its place

in the womb of gravity the levers journey
in the wasteland of intellect the windows gamble
ocean of suffering
dancers flee

is soul watching over the barracks of clarity?

riots and versatile fish
headless and naked
cynicism is free
