Semantikon accepts simultaneous submissions:
semantikon will be pleased to accept your simultaneously submitted works for review. Please review submission guidelines, and do notify us if the works are being submitted somewhere else as our schedule for the year fills quickly.

SUBMISSION GUIDLINES:
Please submit three sample works in ONE Microsoft Word or OpenOffice.org Writer formatted document with

+ Three sample selections
+ Brief bio
+ Selection of previous publication credits if applicable
+ Indicate whether the works being submitted have been published before and where
+ Whether the work is being submitted simultaneously, if it has not been published
+ How you heard about semantikon

Again, we need three sample works in a SINGLE Microsoft Word Document or OpenOffice.org Writer document. If you do not have Microsoft Word, can't afford it, please consider the FREE, Microsoft compatible office suite OpenOffice.org, available for free at openoffice.org. We cannot process Microsoft Works files, further, plain text files tend to lose formatting, so please, get OpenOffice.org or use Word so we can review the works.

If your works are accepted, we will compose a feature with complete bio, the works and audio excerpt in the following way:

• For poetry: we will use at least nine works
• For essays: at least four, three page works
• For short story fiction: one piece of no more than 15 pages, or three five page pieces
• For short story non-fiction: one piece of no more than 15 pages, or three five page pieces
• For Memoir, personal essays: 3 works salient to a corpus, or at least 12 pages
• For experimental media works: Advance notice required, but we will work to help facilitate concerns related to special formatting including imagery, animation and interactive works.
• For Mix of different genre works: We will consider the body of your works, and work with you to capture a representative collection of those writings.
