The '13833 Variants of Apathetic Brilliance' was written between 10:10
pm, 3 May 1999 and 7:48 am, 4 May 1999, in Apt. #8 of 203 E. 13th St.,
Cincinnati Ohio.
Equal
parts concrete poetry, conceptual parody,
and 'fin de siecle' ennui, the manuscript
took on a life of it's own- insinuating itself
into every pavement crack and daydream fog
of all those it encountered. In the loose-knit
tradition of like minded mavericks such as
Dieter Roth, the Letterist International
and Fluxus, the manuscript was self published
as an artist book in an edition of 33, signed
and numbered, with 8 artist proofs.
The '13833 Variants of Apathetic Brillance' as a text
has been performed live in various forms, translated into French and Chinese,
and is perpetually evolving.

A series of situations accumulated
thru the unfolding numerological paradigm exposed within the manufacture
of this manuscripted existence…
The ambiguity allows the inherent contradictions to simultaneously activate
and nullify themselves-a psychoteleological
loop, always already, never to be…Perpetuation of movement within
this closed system allows for the fissures of association to modify the
aural experience, the system referencing what’s already us, synthetic
and pure… |

Decelleration analogous to the encroachment of thee Giant vac…Post
contemporary vaccuum as the closed system of reference expecting/imposing
the inherent binary oppositions as symbolic evolution, existing spastic,
plastic- null
and void. Reduction of active intellectual participation required
to condition the stimulant synthetic subconscious, reinforcing base oppositional
mechanism that already control the outcome by the imposition of the structure
of illusionistic freedom, which, by self referentiality of the closed
system further imposes an equally illusionistic hierarchical system with
its concurrent resistant strain of prototypical plausible deniability.
Freedom is
an accident that happens to happen to some people, which illusion
of freedom can you convince yourself to endure? Micro processing on the
Macro scale. Decipher exoteric apathy, esoteric control…Plausible
deniability opens the fissure thru which the ingraining explodes to distance
more fully the contradiction of positioning, to
evolve more total weapons…break thru, you sage… |

and Matron, Coincidence? The cipher of sucking at the tit
of that which purports to set us free? It’s the revenge
of the Matriarchy, my friends…I
am the Last Man…
Could it be a literal illustration of the FACT that words betray?
Once these dead words were capable of concealing much more…
Details, details. Details exploit the illusion of an OPEN System. Autobiography
is plastic-at least you’re not in this bad of shape…

Creeping fiends, I.V., ivy; all these Dead of the Living Day, for
it is ALL
SOULS DAY. Boxcar of inertia, static fields of amber grey…
We give you aural impact on a metaphysical scale,
Your associative referencing
prompts the Macro/Micro… ad infinitum.
What is critical mass? Revise yourself thru what you bring…
Decellerate,
decellerate…that’s how the charmers do it…
[Would plastic felt velvet, probably statistic staples hope…]
